Artists often become known for painting one particular subject.
California artist Erin Rosen has a growing reputation for finding focus within many subjects. Erin 's curiosity and eye for things of beauty will not allow her to be pinned to one
subject. However, several characteristics about her work remain constant: Confident brushwork, a mature simplicity, sensitivity of color, a strong feeling of light and atmosphere,
and the story of a brief moment in time.
Since childhood, Erin has been working towards becoming a
professional artist. Her father, an avid art and antiques collector, encouraged this while she also learned with her grandfather, often painting floral still life's along side him.
Though
she majored in Studio Art at Loyola University , her painting style is mostly self-taught, a result of her desire to learn and her clear direction toward becoming the artist she
strives to be. |
