An Arizona native, Michael Pabst has a deep and real appreciation for the Southwest Landscape. As
the son of a successful artist, he also has an in depth understanding and love of fine art. He has spent countless hours quietly watching and studying his father, Charles H. Pabst, paint.
Because of his intense desire to
learn, Michael took full advantage of this unique opportunity and began painting at a very young age. At only 15, Michael sold his first painting at El Presidio Gallery in Tucson. By 17, Michael
was a featured artist at the Voita Gallery on Main Street in Scottsdale, AZ.
He has also showed at the Rosequist Gallery in Tucson, which partially financed his college
education. Michael received his degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Arizona. After working briefly in both the design and construction elements of architecture, Michael
returned to his true love of painting.
He now lives in Tempe, AZ with his
wife Kathryn and three young children. |
